Moms and Dads Want Kids to Eat Veggies

Kids are not eating good food. Many of them are not healthy. They are eating things that are not good for them, and they are not eating their veggies.

Moms and Dad are not happy. The schools are not happy. They had an idea. They can pay for the lunches before the kids eat them. They can say if they want them to eat junk food. They can say if there are things they cannot eat. They can say if there are foods that make the child sick.

The child goes to school. At lunch, he or she punches a number. The machine looks at the food. If the child has things that mom and dad say he or she cannot eat, that food gets put back.

Some people like the idea. They think it is good. Other people do not like it. They want kids to learn to make healthy choices by themselves.
