Lions

Baby lions take a long time to grow up. Baby lions cannot hunt for themselves. For the first two years of their life, the mother lion finds food for them. They eat food that other animals have killed. They even steal food. The mother lion also teaches them how to stay safe.

When they are two years old, they go away from home. It is now time to find homes of their own. They know how to hunt, and they know how to find a place to live. It is time to make their new homes.

The lions will stay in this place, and they will have babies of their own. The mother lion will teach her new babies to hunt and find food. She will also teach them to stay safe. Her babies will turn two years old, and then they will leave to have families of their own.
