We often write informal postcards, letters, or emails to friends or family members. There are certain words you can use to open and close these kinds of notes.

A. Read the postcard. Then answer the questions below.

I'm in Tanzania, and this place is incredible! Last week, I was on the island of Zanibar. The water and beaches were beautiful. Two days ago, I arrived in the north and visited Serengeti National Park. Yesterday I went on a safari (a kind of tour). I saw many animals:lions, elephants, and giraffes. The elephants were huge! I want to visit Mount Kilimanjaro. It's the tallest mountain in Africa. I return home on Tuesday, June 22
